Sant Antoni Town Council will present its latest tourism project tomorrow at Madrid Fusión: Sant Antoni KM0.
Through this platform, the gastronomic potential of the municipality, the only one on Ibiza with a fishermen's guild and agricultural cooperative, will be promoted.
"In addition to an extensive network of ecological farms, Sant Antoni is also home to some of the best restaurants on the island, including Es Tragón, the only one with a Michelin star. A Mediterranean larder full of stories that deserve to be told," they point out.
The council wants to promote these attractions in order to position the municipality "as one of the most powerful destinations from a gastronomic point of view at a national level", they insist.
The presentation will take place at Madrid Fusión (from 1 p.m.) with the mayor Marcos Serra and Miguel Tur, councillor for Tourism.
Some of the main national media specialised in gastronomy, travel and lifestyle have confirmed their attendance.
In addition, chef Álvaro Sanz, alma mater of Es Tragón, will give a talk accompanied by a culinary demonstration that will serve to publicise the award-winning restaurant's proposal, which will kick off its summer season next Thursday.
On Thursday 10th June, Sant Antoni KM0 will be presented at the Club Nàutic Sant Antoni to the media, associations, employers, restaurateurs and local producers.
