Asociación de Defensa Vegetal

The Cooperative's Plant Defence Association was formed in 2000 to provide its members with technical advice on integrated pest management, with the aim of producing in an environmentally friendly way and guaranteeing food safety. The ADV currently has 24 main farmers (6 of whom are organic) and a total surface area of more than 250 hectares, which are used to grow outdoor horticultural crops, vegetables under plastic and citrus fruits. The ADV has a technician who provides support to its members and makes regular visits to their farms.
